This necklace is handmade in our workshop in Monaco since 1928. Stones are a natural material requiring expertise and specific know-how.

Symbolism of the stones

Sapphire: 

The sapphire would have virtues both physically and spiritually.
It would strengthen vision, fight fever and stop nosebleeds if applied to the forehead. It would have a beneficial effect on hair, skin and nails, fighting baldness for example.

Rubis:

This stone is the symbol of charity, divine love, loyalty and the popular emblem of happiness.  Evoking blood and fire, ruby is naturally associated with courage. It is a royal badge that kings wear on their crown or on their helmet. It protects the knight from injury and keeps him healthy. By extension, the ruby has the power to fight bleeding. Associated with passion, it is supposed to calm anger and protect from seduction. So the ruby is a symbol of victory, charity and love.
